Anlin Windows: Product Lines, Double Lifetime Warranty and Where It's Sold
Anlin is a California vinyl maker whose warranty is called Limited Double Lifetime. Here's what its documents say, including what it excludes for coastal homes.
Who Anlin is and how it sells
Anlin's Our Story page says the company is headquartered in Clovis, California, was founded by Tom Vidmar in 1990, and is a member of MITER Brands. It says its windows are available only through Anlin Authorized Dealers, and Del Mar windows only through Del Mar Gold Star Dealers.
Product lines and materials
Anlin's replacement window page lists the Del Mar, Catalina, Panoramic (slim profile) and Coronado lines, Malibu patio doors, a Designer Black capstock option and an Ali'i Extreme line in Hawaii. All are described as vinyl. Glass options include Infinit-e as standard and optional SunMatrix, SunShield and CoolShield packages.
What the warranty says
Anlin's Limited Double Lifetime Warranty, for residential products sold after July 1, 2024, gives the original owner coverage on vinyl, glass unit, hardware and screens. One immediate subsequent owner who occupies the home gets a Lifetime warranty if Anlin is notified within 90 days. Parts, freight and labor are included, and accidental glass breakage replacement is included for as long as the purchaser owns and occupies the home (laminated glass excluded). Exterior color is covered for 12 years and capstock for 15.
Exclusions include non-residential use, improper installation, glass breakage from abuse or negligence, and salt-air corrosion, which is relevant if your home is near the coast, as in San Diego. We couldn't confirm Title 24 or High-Velocity Hurricane Zone claims from Anlin's own pages. Warranty terms change by edition and product line. This guide summarizes the documents we read; always get the current warranty for the exact series you're quoted.
What to ask before you buy
Ask your dealer for the current warranty, how the owner-occupancy and 90-day notice rules work, and how far you are from salt water. See our brand comparison and installer vetting questions.
